Biography
Bolat Nurgalievich Kalymbetov (Kazakh: Болат Нұрғалиұлы Қалымбетов; born 20 June 1955; Narynkol) is a Soviet and Kazakh actor, director and screenwriter. He graduated from the acting faculty of the Kazakh State Conservatory. Kurmangazy in 1977 (bridge. People's Artist of the USSR and the Kazakh SSR, Professor H. Bukeeva); directing faculty of the Almaty State Theater and Art Institute in 1989. Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR (1984). He starred in more than 50 films, actively working both at his native Kazakhfilm studio and at other studios of the former Soviet Union. Teacher of the Acting Department at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Zhurgenov.
