Harry is stranded in Monte Carlo when he meets Peggy, an old show business friend who has greatly improved her status in life and is now Countess Peggy Valique. But they quickly discover they still have something in commonâ€”they are both broke: Harry for the usual reasons, Peggy because her husband, the Count, has gambled away everything including their castle. Help arrives in the form of an English egghead called Percy who, needless to say, is a friend of Rusty. Chief statistician for a London insurance company, Percy has developed a system to beat the roulette wheel.
