Lester Bailey, fast-talking, slow-paying film producer, is in trouble. The star of his epic, ready to begin production on the French Riviera, has just quit on a point of principle: he wanted to get paid. Harry Burnsâ€”who just happens to be in the area, and who just happens to be without work for a couple of weeksâ€”comes to the rescue. He allows himself to be talked into the leading role, but he soon sees himself as a great movie star. The girls must restore a sense of values to the situation, and Harry must realize that perhaps his true talents lie elsewhere.
