CHU KOT denies that he has killed CHU for DIP. He also vows to investigate deeply. Nevertheless, nobody believes him. Huizong advises CHU KOT not to spoil the business for a prostitute. CHU KOT talks back for DIP. Huizong then orders the descendent of WU YIN (i.e. TSIK) to decide who to fill the vacant post of Field Marshall. TIN YEE wants TSIK to support CHU KOT, but TSIK is dissatisfied with his ungratefulness to KING. DIP hopes to conceive a baby for CHOI, who points out that she is unfit to do so because of miasmatic poison in her body. He further points out that the most important thing is to deal with CHU KOT. DIP is proven pregnant after she collapses. TIN YEE advises her to abort the child. However, she wants to keep the flesh and blood of his lover.
