But Yuki betrays Airi by marrying her childhood friend! It turns out they registered their marriage to reassure her grandmother, who had only a short time left to live. Unable to accept this, Airi turns to Hajime and Kai. “Same-sex marriage isn’t recognized, but does that mean a 10-year common-law relationship loses to a marriage that lasted only two months?
