A hillside home with a mountain of problems has Julie and Bernard at their breaking point. Julie isn’t ready to give up on her outdated home in a family-friendly neighborhood, but Bernard thinks they are bursting at the seams. Originally thinking they would be a family of four, they had—what they like to call—a “bonus baby,” and that has Bernard on a space quest for his growing family. Can Jillian reconfigure their dysfunctional and outdated home to show Bernard that size isn’t everything? Or can Todd show Julie that it’s all about the space, with a larger, open-concept home her family can grow into?
